QUIET...
Christmas is over, whew! Had my precious grandson, Justin, over for 2 days. He went home today. I'm sitting here alone, listening to Mary Black and others. Breathing deep. Sage smudged the house earlier. The sky is starting to get gray and overcast. I love it. A storms a brewing. All is well. Starting to put some of the christmas stuff away. Time to contemplate, turn inward and soul search. I love the winter with the bare trees, and the quiet.

Christmas Eve
Well it is Christmas Eve! I am alone in the house that I share with my sister and niece. It has snowed here on Cape Cod quite a bit in past week. Snow is magical! So it looks like we will have a white Christmas. I baked Rosemary cookies today. Put a whole stick of butter in instead of 3/4 so they are a little too chrunchy but taste good all the same. The lights are all glowing and its so quiet. I am surely enjoying myself. Merry Christmas to all.
