GROUNDHOG DAY
Groundhog Day has come and gone. Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow and we will have 6 more weeks of Winter. This is an old Pennsylvania Dutch weather divination.The practice started in Europe, they substituted the Groundhog for the Hedgehog,( native to Europe). I heard they were going to make a robot Groundhog!. That's technology for ya! Poor P.Phil. I guess he'll live out his days in the zoo(his home, anyway)lol
We on the Cape certainly know that its still Winter! We are expecting more snow on Friday. Noni and I are
